As a result of a dining pub revolution, an exciting new award was launched in 2000 in association with the Irish Pub Guide (www.irishpubguides.com), which recognises the very best performers with the emphasis on pubs whose high standards, quality food, atmosphere and service make them a cut above the rest and well worth visiting.

The Dining Pub Awards are limited to the top 5% in each region. Some dining pubs have been selected two years in a row, which shows a consistency in reaching a certain standard and keeping that standard up.

We are proud to announce that the Dun A Ri House Hotel has received this award 5 years in a row: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007!
